Going Home

I've been messing with the Spherical rendering abilities of photoshop and decided I wanted to do a space scene. Funny thing, with the ability to render such a high resolution image for the planet, I had to work a little harder to make the ships look a little cleaner and better detailed than I'm used to doing in my digital work.

To me, this is more of a study than anything else. I still had a lot of fun working on it, though.

For the planet, I did sort of a cross between Giedi Prime from Dune and Coruscant from Star Wars.
